ROFL BUT, I just spoke with the financial advisor there (Gloria Mercado, I

think her name is) and she said that he hasn't been taking ANY insurance

since April!!!

I have a PPO, so I can use him as an 'out of network' surgeon if I choose...

I have no idea whether he takes Medicare. This person *may not* be aware

that the situation has changed... Was she pre or post-op???? The office

didn't contact me about this switch at all -- My surgery was covered as was

my three week post-op visit. Then, he just dropped everything and I went for

my three month post-op and have to pay!!!!

So, my suggestion is to make it very clear with the Mt. Sinai because if

they haven't informed you it doesn't mean that it ain't true (unfortunately).

I HAVE THE SAME THING IN MY THIGHS-IT IS CAUSED BY BEING ON THE O.R. FOR A

LONG TIME- I SAW A NEUROLOGIST AND HE PRESCRIBED NEURONTIN TO ME- I AM ALMOST

PAIN FREE NOW- MAYBE YOU MAY WANT TO SEE A NEUROLOGIST-GOOD LUCK JOHN
