Guest guest
Goodness! Everybody reacts so differently! I remember spotting or unusually long or short periods being listed as a side effect (love it when they're soooo specific). My only side effect on Depo has been that I haven't had a period in almost two years (a noted side effect)...I can live with that! FYI for anyone considering the Depo shot: Once you stop taking the shot, it can take several months AFTER the shot wears off for fertility to return. > DepoProvera shots last year, and they were a major downer. Guest guest
P.S. I hadn't had my period in about 2 1/2 yrs because of depo, but actually had a light period about 3 weeks after surgery. Surprised the hell out of me, so if you're on depo and you're about to have surgery, don't assume you won't get your period! Hopefully I'll go back to not having periods at all again..I really like that side effect! I think has a good case for her hubby's vasectomy though, since she doesn't have normal reactions to BC. I wouldn't be able to take Depo if it made me depressed, that's for sure!
