Goodness! Everybody reacts so differently! I remember spotting

or unusually long or short periods being listed as a side effect

(love it when they're soooo specific). My only side effect on Depo

has been that I haven't had a period in almost two years (a noted

side effect)...I can live with that! :)

FYI for anyone considering the Depo shot: Once you stop taking

the shot, it can take several months AFTER the shot wears off for

fertility to return.

P.S. I hadn't had my period in about 2 1/2 yrs because of depo, but

actually had a light period about 3 weeks after surgery. Surprised

the hell out of me, so if you're on depo and you're about to have

surgery, don't assume you won't get your period! Hopefully I'll go

back to not having periods at all again..I really like that side

effect! I think has a good case for her hubby's vasectomy

though, since she doesn't have normal reactions to BC. I wouldn't be

able to take Depo if it made me depressed, that's for sure!
