Don't have time to check all the posts yet - so, if it seems like

I'm not up on things - please be patient with me - I will check up

on everyone later today.

Ian was in the hospital yesterday and today - just got home. Long

story - but, the short of it is - his sugars dropped at the

Pediatrician's office to 48 and then by the time the ambulance took

us to the hospital they had dropped to 39 and he was falling asleep

and we were having a hard time waking him up. All of a sudden there

were 5 nurses in the room and the doctor was paged. He wasn't

responding when talking to him. It was pretty scary. He's never

dropped sugars that quickly. I reacted quickly though and he's

fine. They gave him a diluted D50 and then he actually took a

Nutren drink that afternoon without incident (vomiting or diahrea)

and his sugars stablized. He's been on D5 (we decided his sugars at

139 was good enough to keep him stable on the D5) since yesterday

evening and he's puffy around the eyes today - lot's of fluids. I

finally got them to take out the IV this morning :). Anyway. I'm

exhausted (I don't know how Chrissy did it for 3 weeks!) and I'm

going to check up on everyone's posts later.
