Guest guest
We were surprised when we were told that Penzey's spices are not guaranteed gluten and casein free. (We had previously been told that they were). They have at least one store (in Madison) and an 800 mail order line as well. Jim
Guest guest
Funny, they use to guarantee them. I lived in Madison and was told that the only spice that contains gluten is the taco seasoning and the casein spices all contain cheese. I've been using the spices since day 1, and have seen no reaction. My son has been on the diet for over 2 years. a >>>>We were surprised when we were told that Penzey's spices are not guaranteed gluten and casein free. (We had previously been told that they were). Guest guest
I neglected to mention that it was a customer service representative of Penzey's ( and her supervisor ) on their 800 number who told me that they couldn't guarantee that their products were gfcf. We also have seen no reaction to their spices but don't want to take a chance that something down the line might be contaminated with gluten. Also, I think that it's possible if we can truly eliminate all gluten and casein, we will see positive changes that wouldn't occur if we only eliminate almost all of it.
