I'm not particularly artistic, so I'm painting a base color on my son's helmet

and using stickers over that. I have heard that the paint chips off in a few

weeks, so I don't know that I personally would be willing to pay an artist. I

got some stickers from www.stickergiant.com. They have a huge selection. I also

am ordering some custom stickers from www.blingyourband.com. I haven't actually

gotten them yet, so I can't speak for the quality, but she has a lot of photos

from customers on her site. They are $30 with shipping for a sheet. She has

premade designs that you can personalize, and she will make something new if you

request it. From what I have read, plastic stickers are best and usually stay on

for a few weeks if you cover them with Mod Podge.

There is a place in Dallas, Tx called 360 Wraps, they wrap bands for free. Go to

their website www.wrapbuddies.com. They did an awesome job!

We painted my son's band and the next day the paint was already scratching off. My husband sprayed it with a clear coat. it worked really well. It's not peeling off anymore. Make sure once your work of art is done, it's sprayed.
