Guest guest
Gino, Was it the liquid flavored? My son cannot tolerate this either. Some kids can and some cannot. He got to the point where he would not drink anymore because he was on to me putting it in his juice. So we took him off and I called Kirkman. They said soemtimes children react to the flavoring or coloring. I ordered a TRIAL size of NuThera and kept him off the Super in the mean time. The aggression, anger and frustration disappeared and his eye contact improved (This was noticed by his teachers without any knowledge of the events). So I decided not to put him back on the NuThera when it arrived. About one week ago, because I had a constant voice in me reminding me of the importance of the B vitamins in autism, I put him back on. The tantrums started and so did the crying. He just cannot tolerate this product. So we will go without-he's better off without it. Hope this helps. Kathy
Guest guest
I forgot to add: I took a dose of SuperNuThera one day to see what it was like on my son. I took it at 8:00a.m. and felt horrible, like I would throw up until 2:00p.m. Nothing helped-food, water, etc. just time. B Vitamins can be hard for some. ( We didn't gave the > dosage today) SNT causes hyper and other similar reactions in phenol sensitive children. Here is more information on that. http://home.pacbell.net/cscomp/phenol.htm You can look at the other vitamin supplements at Kirkman site and consider another one, perhaps the EveryDay one, I have heard that one is tolerated by most children who do not tolerate SNT. http://www.kirkmanlabs.com/ My children did not tolerate TMG either, so that might be another issue for you to consider. It is generally better to start new things in the mornings, for just this reason! Dana
