Hi,

Emerence just had her endo appt Thursday and her dr. listed out for

the me the possible side effects (negative) of GH. Per her endo

(who is at Boston Children's Hospital)

1. hypertension - rare

2. hyperglycemia - rare

3. Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) rare - if hip, knee

pain or limp, to report immediately to endo

4. headaches - esp lying down - rare in SGA RSS, more common in GH

deficient kids

5. tumors/leukemia - rare in SGA, RSS, seen more in kids who had

previous cancer and get GH as a result
