Guest guest
, Don't throw out your good clothes please!!!! Although I have every confidence that YOU will never need those larger sizes again, there will be a lot of folks going through the surgery, from every size imaginable that will need every transitional size. Ligosky, our very own angel in Dr. Rabkins office, graciously started a clothes closet ages ago for people to drop off clothes and pick them up as they were going through their weight loss transitions. Every item donated must be laundered and in good condition prior to being donated. All clothes taken are free and just subject to setting up an appointment with the caretaker. Clothes were either donated to her directly to her house, or dropped off at the doctors office in follow up appointments or at support meetings. We probably all have thousands of dollars of clothes that we can all network. So, pardon the public service message, but if you can organize, support, donate, or utilize transitional clothing, see about setting up a " clothes closet " through your surgeon's or local support group. Again, thanks to who did this for so long, and to Amy Y who is picking up the ball for her and graciously donating her home and time to take over this so important quest! *Please don't ask them to ship, as that is out of their venue! Hugs, Theresa DS 11-19-01 Dr. Jossart -13#s (I have ankles and one hip bone! Yeee Haw!) P.S. Men, she also has a substantial collection of Gentlemen's clothing so you can be a huge part of this also. > Alyssa, > > I to am having those same visions.
