Guest guest
, since both Ren and trained together under Gagner, it's no shock that they share similar philosophies. was an experienced lap surgeon prior to entering the fellowship w/ Gagner, where she said she did <25 lap DS surgeries. And her track record at least for Ds surgeries is 100% success. Given that, I still don't understand why she feels so anxious about continuing the surgery that most patients who seek the Ds want - not many people come to the surgeon and say " I want the " old form " of the DS, you know the one prior to the Hess improvements " . Duh! And I agree with Nick-if she isn't comfortable doing it, than she sure shouldn't be doing it...but have to admit to a little unease about being one of the people she used to decide she wasn't comfortable doing the pylorus area surgery. However I'm still very happy I got to have this surgery, lap and with improvements! Perhaps if there hadn't been an option I would have gone for the Scoparino version though...viva la options! elle
