Hi

I have a question for all who have been on this diet for some time.

The gfcf diet worked wonders for the first 3 mos. Sleeping through

the night, eczema gone, less foggy, less distracted. The past 2-3

weeks we are slowly moving back to pre diet sleep habits, eczema, and

the behaviour is getting worse(more aggression, lashing out).

I have scheduled an appt at allergist next week to see what they

find. I am assuming that we have replaced a culprit with another

culprit. Now that we have eliminated G and C and most additives and

colors...there must be something in her diet that has surfaced as a

new allergy/intolerance. I am feeling a bit panicky bc we saw such

gains and I don't want to go back to where we were. I want to try to

hold off until we see the allergist before I start trying to find the

culprit. I am thinking it is a biggie, like corn, rice, soy, potato

since her diet is pretty basic. Anyway, have any of you gone through

this? Any other suggestions besides the allergist. I thought I would

also try to rotate the diet. It can't be wearing off, the G and C

effects, can it? Do you know of anyone who has stopped the diet bc

they started backtracking? I can't imagine, but am beginning to

panick. I feel like I am climbing up the sand dunes and not getting

anywhere right now. (-: I don't know where that analogy came from . I

guess from 3 hours of sleep????

PS I feel for you Cathy with your son's thrush problem. My problem

pales in comparison...Poor little guy. I'd call LL, they are sooo

helpful. Thye would have some holistic alternatives, I would think.
