Guest guest
Hi I buy the ice botanicals from Costco. They are sweet, I water them down quite a bit. One of the drinks will last all day because I water it down so much. Tia Dr. Keshishian 10-18-01 << Amy........oops, reread your email and see its about ice botanicals...... well......they arent that sweet tasting but the key lime I dont care for and never did......I liked the mellon the best as it was mild tasting. you would have to try them all to see what you like and what you dont..... I gave all the key limes to a neighbor lol and kept the rest......I think you will like the mellon flavor though. youll never know unless u try them....by and large the Fruit H20 is the best there is as far as no strong taste is concerned for our sensitive taste buds! Guest guest
Crystal lite didn't taste good til my third week but it still doesn't like to stay down. I am only coping with the hot tea thing.... oh, and popsicles! Guest guest
I love me some popsicles! Forgot about those. Do they count as " water? " I'm not fond of green tea, but I think I can try some chamomile again. Damn I miss my caffeine, some Earl Gray would taste nice! lol ;-) > > Hi, > > > > So, at two weeks, I've been pretty good at getting in adequate > > amounts of water, not 8 glasses a day yet, but more than 48 ozs. > Now > > I'm getting annoyed with water and would love some variety. > Crystal > > Light is too sweet, even watered down. Guest guest
i diluted crystal light by half, and mixed the ice tea with lemonade (if it is not to acidic for you). Also, I dilute anything, even diet soda if I have a desire, gatorade according to something a nutritionist handed out has about half the sugar of fruit juice. Also, a life safer for me, sugar free " popsicles " or " freezer pops " (used to get them at Kmart, cheap) and I would freeze crystal light in ice cube trays, got some tiny cube trays, made for good ice munching and hydration. Guest guest
The orange is the only one I tolerated..I can taste the chemical aftertaste of Fruit H20..the rest of the case has been sitting in the trunk of my car for months! What about watered down gatorade or lemon (actual squeezed lemon) flavored water ? Anita > Amy, > if you have sams club where you live get some Fruit H2O......delish and no > sugar or calories.....just flavored water and the orange is pretty good! > Comes in orange, strawberry and raspberry. > Case of 24 for 10.00 > > Hugs, Judie
Guest guest
How about decaf? Personally I am craving coffee and I never drink coffee! Might be tuff on the tummy though! Go for the popsicles...Jossart told me to get em! and go for the earl gray and chamomile! Guest guest
gatorade was so gross to me post op for several months! (even watered down!) lemon squeezed water was ok but not the best. Everybodys tastes are different after surgery.....even if your Fruit H20 has been in the trunk this long you might find you like the other flavors ok now. Our tastes change over the weeks......one never knows what he likes until he tries it. Judie
Guest guest
I was craving Starbucks (coffee at work sucks) and I finally got some today and it was great! I was about to start chewing a few heads off my team..*grins* I couldn't drink coffee or water until about 4 weeks though. Amy, what about peppermint tea ? If you're nauseous at all, that's also great for it! Guest guest
WHen I drink Crystal lite, I have been using the lemonade flavor and squeezing some fresh lemon into it. Also I found a generic limeade flavor. I squeeze some fresh lime into it also. I like the extra zing this gives the flavor. Guest guest
What about putting it in a slushy cup from the freezer, stir like crazy and then you'd have a slushie! dee --- Lenny B wrote: > i diluted crystal light by half, and mixed the > ice tea with lemonade (if it is not to acidic for > you).
