Guest guest
I am new to this and all of the lingo. What is the ATTT? michele_and_collin wrote: Hey everyone, Collin & I returned from Iowa last night. Dr. Ponseti and Dr. Morcuende were very pleased with his foot. We went there for a 6 month check up (Collin had the ATTT on 9/30/06). They said over the next few months it will look even better which shocked me because I think it already looks wonderful!!!!! He doesn't have to go back for another check up now for a whole year....it's so scary for me not to have a doctor look at it for a whole year and at the same time so exciting and we are now at the point we have been waiting for, for years now in his treatment process...I've been waiting for the day for a doctor to say I'll see him in a year! We met Shanwee and her lovely family out there and another family from NJ also with a baby who just had his first set of casts. Overall it was a good trip! A quick note to anyone going to the RMH this week to help you prepare.....it is hot in the rooms, bring light cloths for bed, our room was 80 degrees both nights and that was with the 2 windows and the balcony door open, they run on the school schedule for their heat and air conditioning so there is no way to turn the heat off in your room since they don't control it, also it's a full house there this week with tons of kids staying there so I had lots of cold showers!!! Guest guest
, It's Anterior Tibial Tendon Transfer. It's a surgical procedure used to correct relapses (typically used for children over 2 years of age). There's a document in the files section on this group's website that has a section with explanations of a lot of the abbreviations and lingo, it should have been sent to you when you joined the list also. Hope this helps! & (3-16-00, left clubfoot) > > I am new to this and all of the lingo. What is the ATTT? >
