Hi -- it sounds similar to what our DD had with her band (she still has

the band but not those lumps). Our group said it's lymph nodes on the back of

the head and perfectly normal at the base of the helmet.

I would suggest, however, calling just to make sure. But, if it's the same as

ours, we were told it was normal and eventually the lumps stopped appearing.

18th. A day or two after the adjustment, he developed a bump on the back of his

head. Prior to the shaving down of the helmet he did not have any red spots or

problems. We went back to CT and were instructed to leave the band off until it

went away.

definitely not gone, and were told to try the helmet again and do frequent

checks to see if the bump gets worse. He had the helmet off for 3 1/2 days.

like a lump under the skin - almost like a small cyst. It started larger and is

now the size/shape of a pea. There was a small white head on it that seems to be

fading, and the skin on it is slightly read. We thought at first that it might

be an ingrown hair from rubbing.
