I've just returned from a five-day stay in two hospitals. In the first, I was too sick to ask about GF IV bags. The second had no problem providing GF IV bags. Of course, there was the ambulance and the helicopter -- you know they can't stock GF bags. However, I'm one of the "silent" celiacs, so I had no symptoms.

I write this as a reminder to people that the IV bags are another potential source of gluten.
