anyone else have any clue?

MARY Y: I'm not sure about others, but I take my calcium citrate in the

evening (when it is best absorbed). My first dose is with food (my evening

meal - 2 pills). Then, I have the remaining two doses with my iron pills

(chromagen forte) in the late evening and early morning. The citrate and

iron do NOT bind but I think the rule of not taking calcium and iron together

applies to ALL OTHER forms of calcium....

I take my iron on an empty stomach (as well as the two doses of calcium) and

so far my levels have been fine.... I also wanted to take them when I wasn't

going to be consuming caffine/coffee... This way I can enjoy my coffee in the

late a.m. and stuff cause I know that caffine can reduce calcium absorption..

I like to take the majority of calcium at night b/c it's just so many pills

otherwise.... So, during the day I only take two with my morning and

afternoon meals (ADEK --- total of 3x day with meals and multi - twice a

day).

all the best,
