Guest guest
I haven't been on a while, but I just came across a really neat website the other day that I wanted to share with the group. It provides all kinds of nutritional information, calorie counts, comparison tools, etc. on a vast catalog of foods. You're able to analyze recipes. You can look up information for some popular restaurant menu items. You can even ask for a list of foods that fit specific categories (i.e. high in calories or fat)-- that's under Tools/NutriSearch--I thought that might be particularly helpful for our kids. Additionally, it gives all kinds of information on healthy eating, dieting, etc. which is useful for anyone. And lots more. One of the best things about it is that it appears to all be free to use! The website is: www.nutritiondata.com Stacey Mom to Ethan (RSS, 2 1/2 yrs. old, 20#, 32 " ) and Aidan (non-RSS, 7 months, 18#-gaining on his brother!)
