I will check again tomorrow, my surgery is next week and i sure don't want to come out and find out i will be owing Dr. G for the rest of my thin life! this topic came up before months ago and it almost made me loose the chance to have dr. g. To the original poster , just keep calling the insurance peolpe at his office to you get an answer. i talked to at least three different people in his office that gave different answers. One thing is funny I have not got that slip from my insurance company yet saying " this provider has accepted... " i will look into that tomorrow. Good luck BB >> Wow, BB: How frustrating! I hope that Dr. G does take your insurance... there could be an exception to his 'no insurance policy' rule... Getting different answers at different times is not too uncommon at that office, unfortunately. I would definately double-triple re-check with them before your surgery --- Just to make absolutely sure. But, it sounds good that he may still take your policy! I was so glad I had the surgery done this past January when he was still taking Oxford. However, I couldn't believe that NO ONE contacted me about his stopping the insurance... I had to find out about it here online! all the best, TEresa lap ds with gallbladder removal January 25, 2001 Dr. Gagner/Mt.
