O.k., I am 15 months post op. I raced my 12 year old daughter to the

car the other day and won! I went to Six Flaggs Magic Mountain and

rode roller coasters all day. I did kind of black out on one, but it

kind of spun you and I think my blood pressure is so low now that the

cintrifugal force caused all the blood to leave my brain! lol.....I

got off the coaster and was fine the rest of the day. I work out, I

lift, I have ridden horses, etc. I just got back from driving from

Southern California to Philadelphia and back and did all the driving

myself. Lets just say I really have no limitations and I enjoy being

active now :)

nne,

I am just over three months post op and rode 3 different roller coasters on

Saturday afternoon. It was wonderful! Besides I fit better than I used to.

It made me realize how long it had been since I had been on a big coaster.

What a ride! The best one one was pretty short but had 7 flips or spins

(almost continuous) I wouldn't have done it pre-op earlier this year. So

plan on having fun post op.

Post-ops - Any physical limitations?

Hi again--

A quick question for the post-ops... what physical

limitations do you have as a result of the surgery?

Are you allowed (or able) to run / jump / do

high-impact activities?

What about ride roller coasters?

I know it sounds stupid, but I'm just trying to gauge

how much knockin' around my new innards will be able

to take, and how long it takes to get there post-op.

Thanks!

nne
