Hi Amy,

This is how reflux was explained to me:

We all have acid in our stomachs that help us break-up

and digest the food we eat. Sometimes the stomach

produces more acid than is needed, and when that

happens, the acid can travel back up your throat and

cause pain. Often times the acid brings food with it

when it travels back up from the stomach. This

condition usually doesn't get better on it's own, but

there are lots of medications on the market that can

take care of the problem. I am also going to tell you

what many other people have - please go to the doctor.

Not only can dehydration be dangerous, but it also

makes you feel just plain bad. Going to the doctor

might help you feel better!
