Guest guest
Hi Ellen, What specific problems are you having with Lupron dosages? My son has been on Lupron for several years, and we have had to adjust the dosage a few times. Kim C. On Oct 2, 2005, at 10:25 PM, RSS-Support wrote: > Eyes are also a problem. Guest guest
We'll see with Tim. His bone age is now 2 years OLDER than his chronological age, so the Lupron was just increased. Then he got bloated, but the endo feels this had more to do with eating and less with Lupron. I hope we get the doseage better soon so his chronological age can catch up and give him some more growing time (and less puberty symptoms)! Guest guest
Kim, Mikey has had 3 Lupron shots - is beginning her 3rd month on it. The dosage doesn't seem to last the full 28 days. She has had some " breakthrough " discharge towards the end of the 28 days. Her endo did a blood test to look for hormonal activity (on the 28th day - before her last Lupron shot. I don't know the results yet. Dr. seemed to think it would be better to increase by giving her shot every 21 days instead if increasing dosage in each 28 day shot.Is that how your Dr. does it? Seems strange to me. Meanwhile Mikey's emotions are all over the map. I just want my happy little girl back! Mikey is 50 " 56 lbs. She is getting 7.5mg every 28 days. Her bone age advanced 2 years this past year. Before that it was even with her chronological age. How long have you been on it - how did you know the dosage wasn't right? Thanks, Ellen
