--when you've recuperated enough to write about it, I'd love to hear

what the guest residence is like. If I get the DS done, I'll probably have to

travel somewhere without family so I'm trying to find out as much as possible

about all my options.

Is there anyone here who had their DS done away from their home town? Were

there facilities for out-of-towners? How was your experience? Were you happy

with your doctor? Were you able to fend for yourself? Did you have to hire

someone to help you? I'd appreciate any info or suggestions from anyone who

has had the DS surgery.
