Hi, Sheri.

When do you see Dr. Herron? Hope everything's OK. Leaving early

tomorrow morning, eh? Where do you live?

Thanks for the info on the shower seat. So far, I've been able to

negotiate the shower business with my husband here. I thought he

became far too intimate with my entire crotch area when I had

children, but now . . . well, let's just say that he's seen and done

more things with that area of my body than I have. Since he's eight

years older than I, I like to tell him that I'll be wiping his butt

soon enough!

Yeah, I'm used to the Guest House, too. Came here in October for my

initial consult, a couple weeks ago for Mom's consult, and now

again. Mom's gonna have surgery on December 17 with Gagner, and I'd

really like to be here for all of it but I'm not sure if I'll be up

to it by then. What do you think? I know I won't be able to help

her out of bed cuz my guts still feel like they're falling out. When

on earth will I be able to stand upright entirely. I walk like an

old woman with osteoporosis!

By the way, my fever is now gone! I'm so excited, and was starting

to become a little more than concerned. I do believe completely now

that it was all a respiratory thing. As soon as I started coughing,

getting that breathing thing to 1500 ml, and moving more, it went

away. Thank God! Dr. Quinn (who, by the way, rocks, and kicked my

insurance company's ass!) assured me that a high pulse was more

indicative of a leak than anything else, but, well, my imagination

gets the better of me. That, combined with the fact that Gagner no

longer automatically requires post-op barium swallows had me in panic

mode. Anyway, I'm doing better. Haven't taken any percoset

(oxycondone) today yet, but might tonight to sleep better and not

wake up in pain in the middle of the night.

When were you able to sleep on your side?

When were you able to cough without tremendous pain?

I'll try calling you at the hotel later.

Best,

Frilot
