Guest guest
Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know how Caleb's doctor visit went. We just went today to see a new doctor--Dr. Price (one of three Ponsetti certified doctors in Florida!) Our current doctor sent us to this new one for insurance issues. He thinks Caleb will need a second tenotomy. So, we brought our x-rays from May that were taken at our other doctor's office. Dr. Price looked at the x-rays, and then looked at Caleb's feet. He said that he was " perplexed " because the x-rays didn't look so good. But Caleb's actual feet looked wonderful. I know we have had lots of prayer for Caleb and that God is working here! And also, I thank the Lord for this message board, and for a-Ann's advice about the sponges in the Dennis Brown shoes. My husband had some weather stripping laying around, and we super glued it to the upper inside part of Caleb's shoes. He hasn't come out of them in 3 weeks! In 3 weeks time, his feet have improved. Dr. Price said for us to keep doing what we're doing, and to come back in 6 weeks. Hopefully, there will be more improvement, and a second tenotomy won't be needed. Also, Dr. Price was very impressed with the weather stripping and is going to tell the brace company he works with to give it a try! Thank you for all of your advice and comments!
