Abscessed callas - heads up

Hi everyone. I know it's been a long time since I posted. I hope this finds

everyone well. Just a quick update on Aidan and maybe a possible heads up.

When Aidan first went into the shoes over a year ago he got a pretty bad

blister on the back of his heel. We went back into casts for 2 weeks then the

shoes.

Everything has been great but I've noticed the callas on the back of his heel

looked a little strange. I had his Ponseti doctors look at it and they weren't

concerned. However, I just had his pediatrician look at it and he said it has

actually abscessed and has an infection.

So, he gave us an oral antibiotic to help get rid of it. Hopefully this will

do the trick so we can avoid anything invasive.

Long story short, what your calluses (I have no idea how to spell that word!).
