Guest guest
It may be because she misses the " freedom " of the casts. Is the bar long enough? dee15mom@... wrote: In a message dated 3/21/2006 2:32:26 PM Pacific Standard Time, novemberfable@... writes: > Is she in the new s now? Guest guest
I know what you mean. Marcus is teething too and he has begun chewing on his blankets to soothe his gums. Have Isabella's heels healed well? dee15mom@... wrote: In a message dated 3/21/2006 4:36:47 PM Pacific Standard Time, novemberfable@... writes: > > > It may be because she misses the " freedom " of the casts. How long does it take from their little feet not to feel so tender after being in casts for 4 months? I was changing her today, and had to remove her shoes, and when I took her socks off, she acted as though it hurt her. Guest guest
It seemed maybe like they are just super tender. She certainly does NOT like you to touch them. Her momma kinda let her feet soak after she finally got the last casts off, and when she went to soap them, she acted the same way. She seems to be tolerating the shoes much better, but just doesn't like her feet touched. Guest guest
Marcus did that for a while. I think it has more to do with tenderness than pain. Does she pull he feet away from you and is jumpy? Or does she scream out like she is in pain? Marcus was very jumpy/jerky with his foot. He would always try to pull it away from me. The best way to handle that is by not being too gentle with the feet. When you touch them, grasp them firmly. A " caressing " touch makes them more jumpy. dee15mom@... wrote: In a message dated 3/22/2006 11:05:36 AM Pacific Standard Time, novemberfable@... writes: > Have Isabella's heels healed well? > Seemed to have. Guest guest
I remember way back when I broke my arm and it had been in a cast for 8 weeks, how tingly and weird it felt to have air touch it again. It took a couple of days to get used to the sensation again. Glad to hear the shoes aren't bothering her per se! take care deedee, kathleen > > It seemed maybe like they are just super tender.
