We had a great time and yes Yadira showed up.

is a little FLIRT!!! He does this screechy scream

which is sooooo funny especially coming from such a

little guy.

The daquiris were cold and very yummy with the whipped

cream on top. I have to load a couple of pictures I

took of and Kelli and and

Cals laying in the hammock together. I forgot that I

had my camera. I wanted to get in his wet

suit and the kids getting wet in the sprinkler.

I got wet from the sprinkler too. I had no idea it

was coming and I just started to stand up straight and

it hit me in the stomach. Jodie Cals' husband had a

good laugh with me.

Aren't you going to be around the area when we do the

Gathering October 23? If so you definitely need to

come.

The sprinkler incident was my fault. ( I forgot that it was on

maximum and I turned on the faucet without warning people to get out

of the way. Poor was right in the line of fire! But it

was so hot (over 100 degrees outside) that I'm sure it had to feel a

bit refreshing - or I hope so. Oh, I felt so bad!

Of course, in my usual way, I had way too much food. And Jodie

brought a lot and came armed with plenty to drink. Did we

forget that we have kids with RSS who don't really eat???? I know I

did! I've frozen the brownies, blondies and other stuff and we just

finished the hot dogs and burgers and corn. (You would not believe

the size of the ears of corn that Jodie brought!)

Yes, we did let Max taste his first alcoholic drink. First he tried

beer. I did not know that my husband let him take a can. Needless

to say, he thought it was disgusting. As for the daiquiris, he

enjoyed those, but there was not much rum in them. He kept

saying, " Mom, I'm NOT driving tonight, so let me have some! " It's a

good thing it will be months before we have drinks like that again.

We just don't drink a lot here and Max was having a bit of too good

a time.

I hope you are going to join us in October. It will be a lot of

fun. Jodie has planned all sorts of things. I feel kind of

helpless because she seems to have so much covered. I guess I'll

just start trying to get donations of goods for the barbecue. I

want to do something!

Again, good luck with 's surgery. I had not idea about the

extra thumb. I never noticed! Let us know how it goes.

I'm so glad you all had a great time. I loooove strawberry daquiries. We don't

drink either and one usually does it for me. , I know Jodi feels bad

about the sprinkler, but I'm sure it's funny now. What was the temp. outside?

Oh wow. It sounds like you guys had a wonderful time. Jodi Z. said

she was sorry about the sprinkler, but I note a bit of laughter

there! ) She didn't know it was on maximum.....yeah right! )

Yes, has a Dr. H appointment on that Friday before the Walk.

I would LOVE to come. I have been racking my brain trying to figure

out how to do it, but I just don't know if I can get it to work out.

It would be so much fun and I would love to hang out with you guys, I

really would. We'll see.
