Guest guest
Helllooooooo!!!!! Happy Turkey Day! With all that is going on in the world and our lives in general we all have so much to be thankful for. Thankful that we live NOW, in a world where we can finally have a procedure that will better our lives and our health. Wow, I am in a reflectively perky mood tonight..lol. Anyway, I have a question. Consider this a poll for post-ops. On average...how many pills are you taking a day? Ok...that's my question. I eagerly await your responses. Take care, Happy Thanksgiving, hug someone you love, and realize how truly lucky we are. (a little too perky for my own good)
Guest guest
Happy Thanksgiving to you, and you bet we are very fortunate to be alive in such a day to be able to have this life saving surgery! About how many pills I take a day....... I take 1 ADEK and 2 prenatals and 6 calcium citrate capsules. thats it! I take the ADEK right when I get up in the morning and then 2 calcium with each meal including a prenatal at lunch and one at dinner. Tomorrow Im going to eat every thing Ive ever wanted to eat for Thanksgiving......just not so much of it! Im really looking forward to it plus the fact I dont have to cook this year as weve been invited to friends for dinner! Have a blessed turkey day and that goes for everybody on this list too! hugs to all, Judie

Then, I take the remainder of the calcium with my iron in the late evening and early a.m. (on an empty stomach). The bigger problem is making sure I eat somewhat regularly -- Not on a schedule per-se but spread out so the meds can be effective (and so I end up with an empty stomach by the time I go to bed -- and not eat too late of a dinner). It is more difficult when I get really busy. <<<<<Take care, Happy Thanksgiving, hug someone you love, and realize how truly lucky we are. Guest guest
, I'm taking 4 Citracals (=1260 mg), 1 or 2 Tums (another 800-1600 mg calcium), 2 ADEKs, 1 GNC Multi Mega vitamin (cut in half & spread out between breakfast & dinner). 2 dairy care, plus my Prilosec and Wellbutrin. The Citracals and MultiMegas are bigger, but I'm still taking many fewer pills than when I had to take Glucophage and Glynase (for diabetes, and which I no longer need!). Hope your Thanksgiving was a wonderful one. We ALL have so much to be thankful for! Marcia Vitamin and Supplement question Helllooooooo!!!!! Happy Turkey Day!
