Guest guest
I will also add the 2 main concerns I have. First, I don't think 's shoes are at a 70 degree angle - they look to me like they are only about 45*. Second, he did not have a tenotomy and while I would love it if he really doesn't need one, his doctor said he usually performs them in 50% of cases - I think I have seen somewhere that the " norm " is 80%? Guest guest
hi Kaci, Get the pictures done and it'll be a little easier to help you out with this. 45 degrees... that's the setting for a non clubfoot. Can you give us pics of the bar (with him in it too) as well as the standing front and back pics? Soles as well. And dorsiflexion pics. The info about how to do these has been posted a lot so I'm not embellishing here but if you need specific instructions let me know. We'll be waiting for the pics! And don't forget some of his face k? You know what though... a little visit to Iowa would be worth it. I for one have never met Dr. Ponseti and it makes me crazy! 7.5 hours is doable and you'd be in for the meeting of your lifetime at minimum. Call me jealous, it's true... if I was that close I would be there in a heartbeat! Kori At 09:34 AM 4/11/2006, you wrote: >I will also add the 2 main concerns I have.
