Guest guest
, We've passed around viruses this week, too. I've started up vitamins B and C and garlic to boost our immune systems - I'm pretty tired of being sick! One thing that also seems to be helping is the marshmallow root - I started it for its diuretic properties for my ear since regular diuretics may lower my already very low blood pressure too much, but it also is an expectorant which might be what's helping me to finally get some of this phlegm out of our systems. Doctors don't always mention the expectorants, but if you aren't taking one already, maybe you could ask them about it (not necessarily an herbal one!)... When we used to feed Tim via medicine dropper, once I got a pinched nerve going up my arm and into the center of my back - I could barely move! I finally dared going to a chiropractor, which helped awhile but tended to need repeat treatments a lot. My friend said she had a similar experience until she got some physical therapy through Kaiser. The exercises they give you help you be able to maintain the good effect. I tried it, and it helped so much. Mine also did gentle chiropractic adjustments. They even helped me find how to better position things to avoid further problems. Do you think this might be an option for you? Inga
Guest guest
Hey Jodie How are you feeling today? The day after is always bad. I know how you feel, I had a boney impacted wisdom tooth pulled while I was awake. That was the second time I had a wisdom tooth pulled while I was awake. The first time some old old old man pulled my impacted wisdom tooth and he told me to close my mouth a little so I did. What did he say next? Now you just pushed it back in. I was like 18 okay and I'm getting blamed. The thing that I learned from the first time is to take the pain killer they give you BEFORE the novicaine wears off so it's no so bad. The first time my neighbor across the street heard me yelling because the novicaine wore off and I had no meds in me. LOL As far as my toe, my low back also hurts, especially more often after going to the doctor. He obviously pushed on something. Years ago when I had car accident I had an MRI of my low back and it showed a small low back herniation. As far as August goes - my Saturdays are now open since dance is over. Sundays are tough because we spend most of the day at my in-laws. It sounds like a good time to me!!! Feel better yourself!!!! Guest guest
Awww. It sounds like it has been a rough few days for you. I hope Kelli doesn't get too sick and I hope 's ear infection goes away quickly. Also, I hope you can figure out how to get your toe numbness to go away. Take care and hope all is healthy soon, Jodi R. > Well as last week was ending (before the weekend) was sounding > like she had a ball of phlegm in her throat and of course could not > cough up. Guest guest
, I have not been on much, but I just read your e-mail and hope everyone is feeling better. We are going away on Tuesday for 10 days and then a few days home and then the conference so I won't be on much. I just wanted to send a quick hello. By the way, I have not mentioned this on the listserve yet, but after Jonah got out of the hospital I brought him for a weight check and he gained almost another 3 pounds in about 3 months. He is now finally over 20lbs!!! Yeah! Let's pray it continues. Talk to you later. , Jonah's mom Doctor's Week In Our House > Well as last week was ending (before the weekend) was sounding > like she had a ball of phlegm in her throat and of course could not > cough up. Guest guest
, I am so happy for Jonah!!!! That is wonderful news. Three pounds WOW. I'm glad he is feeling better as well. Do you have a good view of seeing any of the fireworks in the city? Actually where I live if I go up the hill more I can see the Macy's fireworks. Not great and no noise so it's really not worth it. I'm not too sure where you exactly live . Hey Judith if you're out there today too, I hope you get a view but aren't you north of the GWB? When is Dr. H seeing Jonah next, at the convention? She is going to be so happy with his weight gain. We are going in August for the clonidine blood test and then I suppose we will then make an appointment not to sure. She just said we will do the test never said to reschedule. I better make a note to myself to call Yadira. Give Jonah a big kiss and a hug from me. Guest guest
Hi B., No, we don't get a view of the Macy's fireworks from here. Our town does a big display, but last year we didn't get home until 11:30 pm. So, since the kids have camp tomorrow (actually school, they are in a year round program) we will not be attending tonight. It is just too late for everyone. We were up in the Poconos over the weekend, and we got to see the fireworks there Saturday night. We will do some sparklers later with the kids. Hope all is well, Judith, Steve, (RSS) and (non RSS) 5 year old twins
