Guest guest
My son Hunter (age 4, autistic tendencies and neurological disorder) has been GFCF (100% as far as we can tell) for about 3 weeks now. He's doing great; we've noticed increased eye contact as well as much better behavior at school. My question: What vitamin supplements do your children take, and where do you get them from?? Do you give your child a calcium supplement? At first I thought I would HAVE to give Hunter additional calcium, as I was taking away his beloved cow's milk. However, he's as attached to the rice milk (thank God for Wild Oat's relatively inexpensive Nice Rice!) as he was to the cow's milk, and in addition he absolutely LOVES the Silk brand of cultured soy, which actually has a LOT more calcium than " regular " yogurt. All in all, he's definitley getting at least the same (if not more) calcium as what he got pre-GFCF. I was giving Hunter the Super-Nu-Thera as a trial a few months ago, but didn't see any changes so I stopped. Is this appropriate as a multi-vitamin? He hated the taste, but I need something liquid, so please let me know if you've found anything that is better. Thanks, Marcie
