Guest guest
I am 12 months + 16 days out from surgery. I do, and can eat anything that I want. HOWEVER, I have found out that what I really want does differ from before the surgery. I don't WANT to eat a huge bowl of ice cream with chocolate sauce and stuff on top of it. What I do want to eat is meat, chicken, eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, salami, etc. I also eat 1/ 2 to 3/4 of a ham and cheese sandwich. I'll eat 2 tacos at the most. I'll eat 1/2 a bean and beef burrito. Or a small chef salad. So the volumn is quite a lot less than before, but I don't deny myself anything. If I get a craving for chocolate or cookies or cake or pie. . .I don't eat the whole large size butterfingers, I don't eat the entire package of cookies or the whole pie or half that cake. I donut is satisfying. . .not the whole dozen. I'll eat anything, I just don't eat a lot of it like before. So that's the truth!! -92 lbs Cat Woman
