Today we went to court and finalized LeeAnn's adoption and celebrated

with a Korean lunch. It was such a special day and she really seemed to

understand that. It is hard to believe that just four months ago I met

her for the first time. It really feels like she has always been here

with us.

Thank you for all your support over the long months of waiting.

Especially , I really believe your help and love for LeeAnn was

what made the RSS seem less scary and this adoption an option for our

family. Also , and Joe and Kathy and Josh..thank you for your

help. I realize I am missing people, there were so many of you that

made her joining us seem attainable.

Bringing LeeAnn to Chicago was such an awesome thing for me. It was so

heartwarming to meet SO MANY people who prayed for LeeAnn and cared

about her. It really felt like I brought a celebrity to convention!

And the MAGIC community is just incredible. I learned so much and left

feeling so much more prepared to get the treatment she needs.

I just wanted to share our special news with you!!!!

Congratulations on LeeAnns adoption. She is so sweet and pretty. I really

enjoyed talking to you at the convention and hope everything goes well. Did you

find out about her birthday? Dr. Harbison said she was two instead of 20

months. What was the outcome of that? Hope to see you next year!

That is awesome and congratulations on your special day! LeeAnn is

so adorable and I enjoyed talking with you. My son is and I

was in front of you when we were having pictures taken by Joe. My

son was . The clown jumping around in the red chair! :o)

LeeAnn is so precious and I remember being so fascinated by the whole

adoption time and process when you posted before you even had brought

her home. What a blessing you all were able to do that. You are

such a wonderful person and your children are very lucky.

Congratulations again!

Great news on the finalized adoption of beautiful LeeAnn. I saw

pictures of her on Saturday when Jodie brought along her stack from

the convention. She truly is a beautiful child - and so lucky that

she has you!
