Hi all-

Well, I've been really down lately because my weight loss seems to

have ground to a halt.

I am 4 3/4 months out- surgery on July 6th 2001. I started out at

326 with a BMI of 47-ish. For the past month or so I have been

bouncing around between 237 and 245. The lowest I've gotten is 235

but it didn't stick. All in all I've lost about 3 lbs this month as

at the end of last month I was bouncing around between 240 and 245.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. I am exercising alot- hiking,

going to the gym, walking, biking.

I think I can just eat way too much. Today I had a beef & cheddar

sandwich from Arbys- I magaed to eat almost the whole thing and just

threw away a few bites of bread. I also had a slice and a half of

pizza. I also ate some beef teriyaki-not a whole order but maybe a

cup of the beef with a few bites of rice and salad.

I feel like I am eating a ton and maybe this is why I am not losing.

Maybe you all can help me out and tell me what one would normally eat

at 4-5 months post-op and does my food consumption sound off.

Oh, I also avoid sweets and do not drink sweetened beverages of any

kind. I do not eat fruit. I drink lots of tea and water and diet

coke.

This is really bumming me out. I am so scared that this is it for me.

I know this issue has been addressed a million times and i have

faithfully poured over the archives, but I could really use some

support and encouragement right now.
