Guest guest
Jody, I have had a few weeks where I have shown a gain, as well as many where I have maintained, showing neither a loss nor a gain. This is frustrating, to be sure! Keeping a food journal may help. I keep a daily food journal, exercise journal, etc. I occasionally skip a day, but find that it does help me to track trends in my weight, how I am feeling, etc. I'm such an airhead about meds that I absolutely have to write them down when I take them, otherwise I can't remember if I took them or only thought about it! For awhile, keeping the food journal felt like the pre-surgery lifetime of dieting, but since I have to keep track of my meds anyway, it doesn't seem to be a problem. If nothing else, it is nice to be able to show the nutritionist several days or weeks worth of food/exercise journals so she/he can help you track any problems. Just a thought. In all, although frightening, the gains are lost in time, and progress continues. Dawna
