If I pay the 3 months medical thru COBRA and then I continue to pay COBRA while I am getting disability, why does getting disability change things? I don't understand why this would be. I also don't even know if I will be getting monthly disability yet, as my disability company hasn't given me an answer on the claim yet. But my disability is not from the state or the employer, so IF I get it, does that mean my COBRA is going to go up? Why should it, if I pay for everything, including disability and I keep my insurance payments up? I think we all need to write our congressmen and senators about what a struggle this is when you get unemployed. Carole
