Guest guest
hey there, Just wanted to post real quick. Tonight Maddy kept complaining of pain in her right arm pit. It just so happens that thats the arm her picc line is in. So it got to the point where she was screaming, the doc gave her morphine and 15 mins later she grabbed her head and said " wew i'm hot " so i bumped up the air and at this time there were 2 doctor's and her nurse in the room. Next thing ya know not only is she using that arm again but now she's flying high. Singing dancing and being really funny. So the nurse said they should give her a constant morphine drip since she's so funny. LOL. But back to the seriuos part they aren't sure if the picc line placement is not right or what. So It's 10:09 pm and we are waiting on a portable xray unit to come so we can check placement. I will be sure to post as soon as they are done. Oh yeah should't she be sleepy with morphine?? Not my baby she has a stethascope hanging from her ears and she's singing into it!! Oh lord it's gonna be a long night LOL. Chrissy

Guest guest
Chrissy Hang in there!! Think of it this way, even though it's going to be a long night, it's much better to see Maddy swinging and singing from the lights; than crying at the elevator. I'm hoping all will be fine and you guys will be home soon. I'm following all your updates closely, you are so wonderful to keep everyone up to date. Don't forget to take care of YOU too (can you get some morphine too?? just kidding). Hang in there and just know there are a lot of people praying for you two. Guest guest
I guess that Morphine really affects different people different ways. I hope Maddy and you get to go home soon. Good Luck.
