Guest guest
- Its called Mederma.. I used it when I was having moles removed from my face 2 years ago. Seems to work well, the moles didn't scar. Its expensive, though, so use it religeously if you get a tube. I hear that the curad scar treatment strips work well, too, and they're much easier to use. Opinions? Are the curad scar strips worth the $$? Hope I helped- Liane > Has anyone tried something called " Mereda " which I saw on TV for scars. If > you have, does it work. Guest guest
..Question is there anything that can remove the scar like surgery? > Lisbeth Lisbeth- its not precisely surgery, but if your scars are still red/deep pink, see your dermatologist about getting kenalog injections into the scars. The kenalog causes the raised scar to flatten out and smooth out, and they aren't painful- I got them on my face, to help a mole site in my eyebrow heal flat. And since I am a huge wimp, if I tolerated kenalog in my face, ANYONE could tolerate them in the belly. Just thinking.. Hugs, Liane
