Guest guest
JSPIES: I have heard this one several times. It appears when something is not going right in the GF CF diet implementation or graduation down the road, adding supplements, changing therapies --- these are the check list items I review (or tell other parents to review) in finding and solving the trouble spots: - yeast (Is there a die off reaction or yeast issues to resolve?) - phenols (are there offending foods the child is NOT allergic too, but rather intolerant of?) - hidden gluten /casein (including: Lotions, makeup, contamination via toaster or other items, play-doh, bathing products, etc. - BE diligent and do another sweep through all products coming in contact with your child.) - Infractions - dietary slip ups - are they happening without your knowledge? (www.curingjeff.org - in the GF CF diet, I talk about infractions and how to elminate them) - Natural flavors, dyes, additives: anything more than 3 syllabuls - GET RID OF THEM! Go natural! - New food allergy?? (It is a good time to do allergy testing or a rotation diet to hunt down the offending foods) - routine (has there been a change in your routine? Getting kids on a routine is one of the biggest issues for our kids... good & bad issues!) Simple things (For Jeff) has been: A good soak in an Epsom salt bath. It calms down the reaction to a supplement or food that did not agree with him. They are also great ways to assist sulphanation (which was the key topic of your email.) They are also, BELIEVE IT OR NOT!, one of the cheapeast things we can do for our kids... about 50 cents a bath! Good luck, I hope this helps! A Jeffs mom Re: msm question -I have a little guy w/ phenol issues, does anyone have more info on MSM, or even the basics of how and why this happens. I took him off (tomatoes, red grapes, peanuts, apples, chocolate)while reading Karyn Seroussi's book and he stopped so many behaviors. I feel like there is something more to it though. Maybe a problem food I am missing. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. > > > __________________________________________________ >
