Guest guest
We had the pressure sores on Lilee's feet. Ask for the 'Pringle looking' pads for him. We have not had any more sores since uning them. In the mean time, put Douderm on the red marks. Make these pads a little bigger than the mark. They should stay on 3 or so days. Let them come off naturally, dont pull them off cause that will cause issues in itself. This should help until gets those to you. Yesterday I noticed a small red stripe on his right foot, which stayed all day. He wore his shoes again last night, and this morning when I took his shoes off, he had a big round dark red mark on top of his right foot, and a small one on his left foot. I know somebody has experienced a similar thing recently, but I cannot retrieve the old messages on my computer, because for some reason, my filter blocks out the board. Please could you give me some advice on how to deal with this problem. I am quite concerned that the marks will turn into pressure sores! I have written an email to Mr. , and am waiting for his reply. Any advice would be most appreciated. and 6/24/04 bcf s 14/7 --------------------------------- Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
Hi , is much younger than , but when she first went into the s she got some red spots. I padded them with some gauze I had for about a month and, although it took a long time, the spots went away. They were red but not dark red and steadily got a tiny bit better each day. I know that other people have used moleskin or molefoam as padding on red spots to protect them from turning into sores. I'm sure there is someone with more experience who can help but that is my experience with anyway.
