Life sometimes sucks...what else can go wrong saga #2

Thankyou everyone for your emails regarding our stolen car.

Just to make matters worse, I got a phone call today from my surgeons

receptionist to say that my surgeon is no longer doing DS. He will do the

normal BPD but that is it. He is overseas until the day before my surgery

so there is no way I can discuss this with him. I don't want to cancel my

surgery. I am speaking with his nurse hopefully tomorrow and am going to

try to convince both of them that they should do the DS. My surgeon feels

that the DS part of the bypass really has no added benefits and this is his

one and only reason for not doing it.

Please help.. I need amunition, they are going to ask why I would prefer the

DS and I dont know what to say other than what the research I have done

tells me, is there someone out there that can tell me plainly and simply why

the DS is more superior. Please Help I am desperate! I am less that 6 days

from surgery.
