Guest guest
My twins are 5 months old and my son is 2 weeks into band treatment. At 3 1/2 months I noticed his flat spot and after a pediatrician visit and evaluation by CT it was brought to my attention his assymetries, especially his ears. I truly never noticed it before. Since he has had the band on I have been neurotic about his twin sister now. I don't see any obvious flat spot or assymetries but what if I am missing something/ I feel like since I didn't notice his assymetries how will I notice hers if they are not blatently obvious. I keep them both off of their backs as much as possible but there are 2 of them and with 2 toddlers as well, it is not possible all the time. I am more likely to lay my son down because I figure he has the band and his head is safer than my daughters. Any recommendations? I never had my daughter evaluated at CT and my mom keeps telling me she looks fine but just go to ease my worries. Many just tell me she is fine, and that I am just neurotic, although they said the same about my son too. I don't want to be constantly worried about my daughters head but I don't want to overlook it either and then if there is a problem it be too late. Guest guest
Hi, You could take her in for an eval with CT to ease your mind. If I had another baby, not that I'm planning to, I would feel the same. I would bring the baby in for a head scan with our ortho just to be sure.
