Guest guest
What should my 6 month old be sleeping on to keep him from getting poisoned by the mattress? I already have 2 on the spectrum. Should I just go buy a new mattress. Will this help? Ours is very clean and dry. -Meggie
Guest guest
Antimony and arsenic are in every crib and playpen mattress. They are used for flame-retardant and mold growth. If mildew gets into the mattress, a gas results which our kids breath in. A new mattress would only postpone that mildew growth. The best way to know it is safe is to cover it. You can find out more from www.criblife2000.com. They explain more about it and how to cover the bed. When I had my son's hair tested, his level of antimony poisoning was so high it was off the charts. > What should my 6 month old be sleeping on to keep him from getting > poisoned by the mattress?
