The ph probe is like using an ng tube, but there is a little box

attached to the end that you have to carry around with you. You keep

a log of what and when she eats, when she naps, when she does various

things and press a button each time. You record the time and

activity. After 24 hours, the probe is removed and the machine is

hooked up to a computer that analyzes the occurrance of reflux.

Actually, you will be able to see it, too. The numbers on the box

change. Ask the dr to tell you which numbers indicate reflux. It's

really quite fascinating.
