Guest guest Posted October 9, 2005 Report Share Posted October 9, 2005 , The ph probe is like using an ng tube, but there is a little box attached to the end that you have to carry around with you. You keep a log of what and when she eats, when she naps, when she does various things and press a button each time. You record the time and activity. After 24 hours, the probe is removed and the machine is hooked up to a computer that analyzes the occurrance of reflux. Actually, you will be able to see it, too. The numbers on the box change.
