hi all!!

well i am all warmed up now, i think?!?! it was a really breezy,

partly cloudy oct. day today in nj but we did it!! our walk went

off, the turn out could have been better, but otherwiase we had a

great time!! jodi forgot to mention our web page master, ed champ

and his family came from long island to the walk as well!! and

after jodi and max left katy f. and family joined us!! then we got

a surprise visit (well i was in on it, but didnt know for sure if it

would happen) but dr h and her husband came to join us as well!!!

what fun she had playing with the kids on the playground (she was on

the swings, down the slide and in the sand with them!!!) i am so

glad she made it and just more could have joined us!! so far we

have brought in $600!! i have to now collect my pledges as does my

mom and i know ed has some too so the total amount will change, my

mom can also get a matching grant from her job for her pledges!!

every little bit helps!! i do think it would be better though to

have the walk in the spring and i may do another one then, we will

see. so, we ate, we walked, and we talked!! it was a great day!!

thanks to all who came and spent the cold oct. day with us!!!

Jodie,

I'm so sorry your day was so cold. I know how much planning you put into this.

It was really cold here as well today. I didn't have as many people show up as I

thought either, but I've already got new contacts for next years walk and two

friends are going to help me with the organization of it. I'm considering maybe

spring also, October is a great month here as far as weather goes, but terrible

as far as how many walks are already going on. September is still too hot and

November is just to iffy with the weather.

I'm happy Dr. H was able to make it. Sounds like she had a great time with the

kids. Let us know what your final count is as to how much money you raised.

Also, did you take any pictures. I posted mine today under 's file.

My energy is pooped out and I'm going to bed early tonight. Tomorrow I have to

sort through everything from our walk and get it all put up for next year.

Talk to ya later,

Tammy

Hi Everyone who attended the walk,

I am so sorry that we weren't able to attend. From Labor Day to

10/17 I worked 15 hour days, 6 days a week (my busy season at

work). I never even had time to fundraise. Steve surprised me by

getting a babysitter and making plans for us to go out Saturday

night 10/22 since my 40th birthday is tomorrow. Add in the two hour

ride each way and I just couldn't handle it.

Finished busy season on Monday and 15 minutes later my mom called

and told me to come home because she had a fight with my nanny who I

then had to fire. Talk about non-stop!!!

Anyway, I wish I had gotten to see everyone and show off how well

is doing. Hopefully we can make the next " event. "

Judith, Steve, (RSS) and (non RSS) 5 1/2 year old twins

Hey Everyone,

It was cold but we braved it. It was a lot of fun.

My kids slept good last night with all that crisp cold

air. It was great that Dr. H came. For someone like

me who feels intimidated by her I know see her in a

different light (much better and kinder).

I think it would have been a better turn out if it

didn't rain the day before and be so breezy and cold

on Sunday. Jodie did an amazing job.

It was great to see and her family and Katy and

her family again. Baby is adorable!!!

I still need to collect the pledges now. My sister's

company will match her donation so any cash we will

put under name so that more goes to Magic.
