I had the same thing happen last Thursday - I hate this, this is the 3rd time

in 3 years just before the Holidays - I swear they don't want to pay for

Thanksgiving off, the day after, Christmas, and New Year's day.........but

you don't have to stop everything because of it. You can stay with your

insurance through COBRA. Tell the Dr.'s office what happened, try to get

surgery date moved up. Go on unemployment, collect unemployment, stay on

COBRA, even if it is expensive (getting surgery paid for by paying for ins

each month is cheaper than having to self-pay). If the Dr. can move you up,

you can get surgery, heal, and send out resumes. Possibly by the time you

are healed and have lost a lot of weight, it will help you get a job. At

least that is what I am hoping for. You can get more unemployment based on

number of people in your family and food stamps. Do whatever you HAVE to to

stay on course with this. That is what I have decided to do.
