Guest guest
, I, as a teacher of an inclusion class, went through something similar last spring. It was a nightmare. Fortunately, however, this was done in a closed-door meeting so not many people heard. It was hard for me not to be upset because I know I am a GREAT teacher and do the best I can for each and every student. These parents were way out of line and said hurtful things. If they had paid better attention to what their child was doing and the program he was in, then this never would have happened. I hope the principal sends you a supportive message. Parents can be so cruel when it comes to their own children - especially those with special needs. My problem is that I see each child as an individual, so I don't always remember they have " special needs. " I just seem my kids/class as part of a school community, not a separate entity.
