I am trying to attend the convention through the scholarship program so hopefully i will be there I really would like to met up with you there. I am nervous about the convention ,because I am going to be by myself with Grayson in a big city. So it would be great if we could meet up with eachother so you can show me the ropes. thanks again. Are you coming to the convention??? I would love to show you ways to secure his tubing so that he cannot pull out his button, or wrap the tubing around his neck, while sleeping. There are tons of little things I've learned (necessity being the mother of invention, or so I've heard! LOL) over the last 3 yrs, that might be of help. I'll be at the Parent Networking Table, by Dr H's appt site both Friday and Saturday nights from 8-9pm, just in case we don't meet by chance. Please stop by! Guest guest
Hey Amber, I'm always around at the convention. I'm a very friendly person! LOL I'll be looking for you! The first time at the convention can be rather intimidating. I felt like I had to learn everything as it was lectured about, and I was trying to meet everyone, and went home feeling really overwhelmed. Last year, our second convention, everything went MUCH better! I think I actually learned more, and met more people then I did the first year because I knew what to expect. I took detailed notes during the lectures, and researched all I had learned when I got home, instead of trying to understand everything thoroughly before I left. I also made more time for meeting people, and socializing, and that improved my experience 110%!!! Now, I couldn't imagine a summer without the convention. This year I'm going to try to help out all the other wonderful MAGIC volunteers. New experience, so I guess we'll see how it goes! LOL Feel free to email me anytime at pcpets @adelphia.net (no space, of course) I'd love to help out any way that I can! HUGS!!
