Hi -

The same thing happened with my son although in a different location (between

the opening under the velcro) and the lump went away just like CT said it would.

We hear about it often on the board, occurring in different areas, so each baby

is a little different, but your situation sounds like many others we've heard of

and I don't remember any lumps that didn't go away. It just seems that the

longer they wear the band, the longer it may take for the fluid to dissipate (my

son wore 2 bands for almost 8 months, so his did take a little longer than

normal), but it does eventually.

Definitely keep an eye on it though! Better to be safe than sorry.

the head gravitates toward that open area of the band. They said that it would

slowly go away after treatment in the band is completed. Is this really normal?

Has anyone else had this happen? We want to believe what they told us, but we

would be devastated if we were causing a bulge to grow unintentionally. Any

information would be appreciated.
