Hi Jenn,

That is fantastic news! I have been thinking about you and hoping

things would work out. I am glad you got a favorable report...it

certainly speaks volumes about obtaining second opinions!!!

Will you have an opportunity to speak with your original surgeon to

find out more about his diagnosis? It's so odd, but not

surprising. We had our own experiences like this when was in

the hospital, while he was under one doctor's care he was not doing

so well, but after another doctor took over and made some changes -

there was tremendous progress. Remarkable!

Anyway, just wanted you to know there was an " Amen " to

your " Halleluia " !! :-)

I go to USC and see an ENT surgeon there, and he does the same thing,

this time with the video screen where the tech and I and my mother-in-

law can see, and there appears to be NO cyst regrowth. Just white

skin where the old cyst was.... he did say that the symptoms appear to

indicate that I may have a bad infection trapped in a closed off area

of my sinuses/facial (so not where a normal sinus infection is, so

that it drains into your throat, but in a cavity which isn't good

because it can " eat " away at your bone). So I am on antibiotics and

will get a catscan. But treatable, and certainly not needing surgery!

I can't believe what this first surgeon saw that made him think it was

a regrowth, and had us worried for a week.

BUt either way, halleluiah! Jenn
