I am so, so very sorry to hear about Stirling-I don't know what else to say. My

family's thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family as you go through

this difficult time. Please know that, while it will do nothing to help dull

the deep sense of pain and grief you must be feeling right now, you have my

deepest and most sincere condolences.

Stirling passed away at borough District Hospital (GB)

He had been at the hospital in the afternoon for the UPD(7) blood

test to be taken, as the previous sample hadn't been tested. he was

fine until around 5.30pm when he stopped breathing and went floppy

in my arms, we called the ambulance and I did cpr on him until they

arrived. They took him to the hospital, but they couldn't save him

and he passed away at approx 6.45pm

We have heard a first report from the post mortem (autopsy) and

although they haven't yet found a cause of death, they have found an

abnormality in the heart. We are awaiting further tests to

confirm/rule out whether this is the cause of death. hopefully it

will be proved and we can have him back and can plan our goodbyes

properly.

We hadn't long been members of this community but we appreciated the

support on this group.

Stirling was a great kid who was always smiley and happy as his

photos show. He will be missed terribly by everyone especially us.

I'm still kind of new to the list, but remember you writing about the enjoyable

day you had swimming with your family and how hungry Stirling was afterwards.

I'm so sorry about Stirling. I will keep your family in my prayers. Please

keep us posted on the cause of his death and how your family is doing.

Dear and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what you guys must be

going through right now. Sterling was a beautiful little guy.

I read that Sterling has a sibling. I have some sibling " grief " books

I can send you if that is something that you think may be helpful.

You can email me at vhowland@... or nightnuse4babies if you

would like the books.

I've lived in the USA for 15 years but lived my first 26 yrs in

England. I have read your posts about your precious boy and looked

forward to hearing about his progress.

Even though Sterling now lives only in your heart, please use us as a

place to chat about how wonderful he was and how he changed your

lives for the better.

I will be praying for you all.

I will miss your stories of sterling but will pray that you will know he was

loved by all. His wings have spread further than any of ours to watch over

others.

A little life so full will surely be missed.
